Andrew Bull
Andrew Bull has been making figures using rolled and slab building techniques for longer than he can remember.
The original inspiration came from the Heath Robinson cartoons `Triple decker bus` and `Two-wheel car` while he was studying studio pottery at Medway college in Kent.
These ideas evolved into their current form of light- hearted, observational pieces depicting everyday life of a male figure, Percer Veer, his partner Vera Perse and sometimes followed by Bing the cat, Bong the dog and Bird the bird.
He works in porcelain for the fine detail that can be achieved, lustres and some enamels are used to finish.
His workshop is in Faversham in a shed at the bottom of the garden.
