Robin is a “Norfolk boy born and bred”, and the youngest son of Jack Grimble, a well known local cabinet maker & craft person.
 

He developed his own unique style of Medieval replica furniture as well as being asked to make medieval furniture for television dramas,  as well as being commissioned by royalty to make a child’s chair.

 

His career took a different path in aviation engineering ending up at Norwich Airport.

 Before retirement his father decided it was time he should try his hand at woodwork and carry on with the family tradition & style.

 

He embraced the challenge and now loves working in wood and has tried to adapt his style to modern day themes, whilst keeping his father’s unique interpretation of Medieval furniture.
